You've been told for years that fats like butter and lard increase LDL
cholesterol, more commonly called "bad cholesterol", but it turns out
that the best alternative may not be the very popular olive oil. A new
study published in the Journal of Lipid Research found that people
who consume seed oils have a better LDL and overall cholesterol.
So, the next time you have a grease pan, opt for sunflower oil, safflower or flax.
